The island of Sri Lanka is still referred to as Ceylon in the tea trade and is the third largest producer of tea in the world, and the largest exporter. Ceylon is the youngest of the tea regions and produces primarily blacks. The teas are well twisted and wiry, their most universal quality being bright and floral.
